How do I use Ask Irene?
That is up to you really. You can browse though the spots until one catches your eye, use the search bar, add a few filters or select one of the existing quick filters — such as First Tinder Date or Family Celebration. Just keep in mind that Ask Irene is a personal database so don't expect as many places as you would find in a search engine. Instead you will find a small selection of carefully curated spots that won't disappoint you.

Who is Irene?
Irene is a Product Owner, Project Manager and freelance writer from Barcelona. She has been obsessed with everything food since she was a kid and decided to create a public database of her favorite spots so everyone could have access to it 24/7. You can get to know more about her at irenedemas.com.

Why are there only spots in Barcelona and Costa Brava?
Ask Irene only features places that have been tried and tested. In order to make sure recommendations are updated, only spots in frequently areas visited by Irene are included.
Why aren't there any Costa Brava Quick Filters yet?
Ask Irene is a constant work in progress. More Quick Filters are added constantly but spots are always prioritized, as they are used by more people. If there is a specific Quick Filter you are missing, please don't hesitate to propose it.
